On March 1, 2019, PUC had the pleasure of hosting five wonderful delegations from Hiroshima University of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Yuko Ishida, Vice President and Chairman of the Board, Prof. Kenichi Kawamura, Director of Center for Regional Economics Research, Prof. George R. Harada, Director of Center for International Education Exchange, Mr. Masahide Ishida, Director of Koudoukan (Human Resource Development Center), and Mr. Hirokazu Kashitani, Manager of Koudoukan (Human Resource Development Center)

During the meeting Mr. Justin Dara Op, Vice President for Logistics and Engineering, warmly welcomed the delegations and shared about the great cooperation that PUC has with Hiroshima University of Economics, and extended our great appreciation to HUE for the Hiroshima Corner located in the PUC library.

Assoc. Prof. Yuko Ishida and Prof. George R. Harada expressed interest in possible collaboration of student exchanges between both universities and future activities with PASS. They are also looking into providing scholarships for PUC students to study in HUE for a short-term exchange program in the near future since HUE has just finished building a new guesthouse for international students that will be studying at HUE.
