The Faculty of Arts, Letters, and Humanities offers Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Ph.D. Degree in the program areas offered, which include: Anthropology, Archeology, Khmer Studies, Asian Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, English for Communication, Music, Ethnomusicology, History, Philosophy, and Religion.
DEGREE REOUIREMENTS
General Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (128 Credits)
Students majoring in one of the liberal arts are awarded the B.A. Students who earn the B.A. must satisfy the courses specified by the university and the requirements of their major department. In addition, all students earning the B.A. must complete a Senior Project requirement upon completion of all required courses.
General Requirements for the Master of Arts (M.A.) (48 Credits)
Students majoring in one of the liberal arts are awarded the M.A. Students who earn the M.A. must satisfy the courses specified by the university and the requirements of their major department. In addition, all students earning the M.A. must write a thesis or a Project Report, or take a Comprehensive Examination upon completion of all required courses.
General Requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (54 Credits)
Students majoring in one of the liberal arts are awarded the Ph.D. Students who earn the Ph.D. must satisfy the courses specified by the university and the requirements of their major department. In addition, all students earning the Ph.D. must write a dissertation upon completion of all required courses and the Qualifying Examination (Candidacy Examination).
