The mission of the Faculty of Arts, Letters & Humanities (FALH) is to lead students through a journey of self-discovery that instills in them the 21st Century knowledge, skills, and values needed to:
- succeed in local and global job markets;
- engage in lifelong learning; and
- serve as responsible, compassionate citizens and leaders.
As technologies advance at an unprecedented rate, education must balance the technical knowledge and skills needed in the workplace with an understanding of the subjects that express our humanity and connect us as one human race. These include arts, culture, history, literature, and philosophy. FALH offers this holistic learning experience.
Each major program of study prepares students for future success by developing their cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual intelligence. Classes combine theory with real-world practice. Our focus on information literacy, critical thinking, research, and analysis produces graduates who are capable of self-learning to stay ahead of future changes in work and society.
