The dawn of the great Khmer civilization began with knowledge and the sharing of it. The ancient, magnificent temples of Angkor Wat were built with such precision, intention, and intelligence that standing in its shadow we gaze up in awe and wonder.
Following in the footsteps of our ancestors, Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia at our Siem Reap campus upholds these same timeless values of precision, intention, and intelligence. We too are building temples… we are building temples of the mind, we are building lives, we are building careers, communities, and a nation. Just as strong, beautiful, enduring… the knowledge we cultivate in our classrooms rippling out across the world and to the next generation and the next, a mighty legacy via our precious students who are making the world a better and more beautiful place to live.
Welcome to PUC-SR. Since our campus doors opened in 2009, we have forged relationships with universities and institutions throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Our international faculty and guest lecturers hail from the United States, Canada, England, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, the Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia. Our student body is increasingly international. While our Khmer students come from urban and rural areas alike, our enrollment also includes students from around the world.
We established this campus with a strong and professional team; we dedicated and committed our sweat for the quality of education with very clear vision and mission. Our instruction is entirely English-based and student-centered. English has become the world’s universal language not just of business but how we all network and stay connected. I invite you to click through our website to browse the degrees offered and am very excited to announce the recent addition of our BA degree program in Tourism and Hospitality Management… one of the fastest growing global disciplines certainly applicable to Siem Reap, the whole of Cambodia, across Southeast Asia and indeed of the world!
You’ll also find on our website details for the four tracks of English language study… Intensive English for Academic Purposes (IEAP), General English as a Second Language (GESL), English for High School Students (EHSS), and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). There is no better time than *now* to make strong your English language skills right here on our campus in a university setting.
Our Khmer ancestors had a joy for life. Festivals and celebrations were common throughout the year… music, dancing, fireworks, wrestling, and horse racing. Women dominated the business scene in charge of most of the commerce and trade. Just as our forebearers blossomed into one of the most significant cultured and social civilizations of all time, we here at PUC-SR carry that same spirit forward going out into this great world of ours… intent on education, healthy living, loving kindness and compassion, and, peace and goodwill to all.
